Welcome message

Welcome to Seabrook, all dogs (puppies, seniors, barkers, fluff balls, smooth-haireds, and tail-waggers)! Seabrook is dog-friendly, so please feel at ease exploring, sniffing, and puppy-ing around – even if you’re a senior pup. In fact, Seabrook and The Salty Dog (Seabrook’s dog shop) were featured as the Best Northwest Pet-Friendly Getaway by Seattle’s KING 5 Evening Magazine! And you’re in good company. On a recent weekend, over one hundred (100!) dogs checked in at Seabrook with their humans!

Plus, many properties have fully fenced yards, giving your pup space to roam and play safely.

Amenities

Emma focusing on treats

Seabrook is known for its long stretches of shoreline, stunning views, and pristine forests. But did you know there is a network of trails, pathways, and promenades – miles – for everyone, including dogs and their people?! In addition to the 18 parks around Seabrook, there is also an off-leash dog park near the grand-arbored entrance to the Farm District. Be sure to read BEACH DAY WITH YOUR PUP for an unforgettable day at the beach.

Policies

Varick nibbling grass

Dogs can walk, roam, nap, explore, run, and rip around off leash on Seabrook’s beach. Otherwise, in and around the town, they must be on their leash – unless they are in the fenced yard of your vacation rental. We know, it’s not their favorite.

Dog-friendly homes allow a maximum of two (2) dogs. The dog fee per dog, per stay, is $75 to $90 (plus 11.9% tax). For the official Terms & Conditions, see Terms & Conditions >> Dog Policy.

Oh, also, some homes have a weight limit for dogs (maybe it’s the treats?), so make sure to read the descriptions per home.

Etiquette

Chessy blowing in the breeze

We ask for your responsibility around town to manage excessive barking, mind your dog’s interactions with other dogs and their humans, and dispose of waste properly.

Speaking of waste disposal, did you know Seabrook has over 40 (!) dog ‘stations’ strategically placed around town? These stations include a plastic bag dispenser and a dedicated trash can. Please pick up and dispose of waste anywhere and everywhere.

Shop and wash

Nymeria waiting on the trail

The Salty Dog is your one-stop shop for everything dog, their people, and even their cat friends. Pups are welcome to browse and sniff onsite in the shop. If their four legs and paws are sandy, muddy, or dusty, no worry – there’s a self-serve dog wash complete with shampoo, towels, and a hairdryer for $20 to $25 per pup.

Dog water bowls. Seabrook Merchants love dogs! As you stroll and shop the town, your buddy or princess might stop you for a lap or two of fresh water from the bowls (thoughtfully placed) outside various shops and restaurants around town.

Pet-friendly dining. As your dog’s human, you know that in Washington State, live animals are not allowed on the premises of a food establishment. However, there are several outside eating and drinking options for dogs and their humans in Seabrook. Frontager’s Pizza Co., Rising Tide Tavern, The Stowaway Wine Bar, Blue | Juice & Salad Bar, Vista Bakeshop, and Koko’s Restaurant & Tequila Bar – all have outdoor seating where pups are welcome. Plus, The Sweet Life and Fresh Foods Market have some limited seating, too.
