Becky Selengut – Seattle-based chef, instructor, speaker, podcaster, and author of Misunderstood Vegetables, How to Taste: The Curious Cook’s Handbook to Seasoning and Balance, from Umami to Acid and Beyond, Shroom: Mind-Bendingly Good Recipes for Cultivated and Wild Mushrooms, Good Fish (a sustainable seafood cookbook), and co-author of the humor and travel memoir Not One Shrine: Two Food Writers Devour Tokyo.

Jeff Burlingame – Winner of an NAACP Image Award for Best Literary Work and a two-time Image Award nominee, author Jeff Burlingame has written over thirty books and is the recipient of a prestigious Sigma Delta Chi award from the Society of Professional Journalists. He has presented at the Washington State Capitol and has been featured on A&E, MTV, and elsewhere. His work includes biographies of musicians John Lennon and Kurt Cobain, and Washington legend George Varnell. He’s also the author of: Moon Olympic Peninsula, highlighting Coastal Getaways, Rainforests & Waterfalls, Hiking & Camping..

Martha Brockenbrough – Award-winning author of more than twenty books for young readers, including YA fiction and nonfiction, picture books, a middle-grade mystery, and a chapter book series. The former editor of MSN.com, Martha has interviewed lots of celebrities, including the Jonas Brothers, Jason Bateman, Mike Myers, and Slash. Her work has been published in The New York Times, and she wrote an educational humor column for Encarta for nine years.

Jessixa Bagley + Aaron Bagley with DUEL
Jessixa Bagley grew up in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, where she developed a love of hamburgers, drawing, and anthropomorphic food. Her books have won the SCBWI Golden Kite Award, multiple Junior Library Guild selections, and an Ezra Jack Keats New Writer Honor, among many other awards.

Aaron Bagley is an illustrator and sometimes author from Seattle, WA. His work has been featured in Illustoria Magazine, The Virginia Quarterly Review, Seattle’s The Stranger, The Seattle Weekly, and so many more.

Julia Kuo – Author and illustrator of Let’s Do Everything and Nothing and Luminous: Living Things that Light Up the Night. She is the illustrator of many picture and specialty books including the bestselling book RISE. Julia has created editorial illustrations for publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Economist.

Rachel Michelle Wilson – Children’s book author-illustrator with a sweet tooth and a dash of sass. Her debut picture book HOW TO PEE YOUR PANTS: THE RIGHT WAY — out October 15 with Macmillan — received a Kirkus starred review. Her short story was included in THE HAUNTED STATES OF AMERICA, a middle-grade anthology by SCBWI and Henry Holt.
