Step back in time with a look at the historic Dorothy Anderson Cabin located in the Alderwood District of Seabrook.
Dorothy Anderson was a Scandinavian woman who had visited the coast and moved there shortly thereafter, having been drawn in by the breathtaking beauty of the Washington coast. Visitors can take a look at the original (now restored) cabin that was built in the early 1900s that she built in Ocean City. The cabin is the last remaining of seven additional cabins that Dorothy built for others to come and take in the beauty of the coast.
According to the Museum of the North Beach, located just five minutes away from Seabrook in Moclips, Dorothy’s cabins were one of the first resorts of its kind on the Washington Coast.
