Summertime on the Washington coast is officially here! With all of the fun to be had around the beach town of Seabrook, we’ve put together a list of the best outdoor eats from local restaurants. It’s easy for you and your crew to refuel with some tasty bites and then carry on with all of the excitement that summer has to offer around town.
Eat Up At Growler’s Alley
Don’t forget to check out Growler’s Alley this summer, too! The alley is now open to all ages and everyone is invited to use the tent, play outdoor games, take a photo with Growler the Sasquatch, and relax around the fire pit. Even though it’s not an official beer garden, you can still pick up your favorite adult beverage from a nearby merchant and sip away at Growler’s Alley.
Vista Bakeshop: Pastries, Desserts, Café Drinks, Sandwiches & More
Vista Bakeshop offers pastries, desserts, and your favorite hot or iced drinks all day for easy grab-and-go breakfast and snacks! They also offer lunch sandwiches, like their crowd-favorite BLT or chicken pesto, beginning at 11:00 AM. Get next-level savory and accompany your to-go items with housemade pickles, marinated olives, and sundry items like chips, popcorn, soda, and much more.
The Stowaway: Drinks, Brunch, Melts & More
It’s Brunch Time
Try out brunch on Saturday and Sundays 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Brunch options include three boards and drinks like a mimosa, Bloody Samurai, Vinho Verde, and Stowaway Spritz that are great for sharing and grabbing to go.
Stop By The To-Go Stand Before The Sunset Concert Series
Stop by the corner of the wine bar’s patio from June 30th through September 1st at 5:00 PM-7:30 PM. This will be every Friday of the Sunset Concert Series. There will be beer, wine, mocktails, and food to go. Easy to grab and go on your way to the concert.
A New Summer Menu & More
Beginning on Memorial Day Weekend, The Stowaway has a new summer menu to come and try out! Don’t miss out on other great to-go options like the roasted cauliflower dish with Tahini. There will also be a new crab melt special that makes a great to-go dish every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting June 30th (at least through September) that are served until they are gone. And, of course, any of The Stowaway’s drinks are available to go at any time.
Visitors can also take a drink or bottle to go over to Lorraine’s Candle Studio to enjoy while they make candles. Their food menus are also at Lorraine’s if patrons want to order something to enjoy while they are there. Patrons can also purchase bottles of wine to take to Rising Tide Tavern, just ask the wine bar to put a Stowaway sticker on the bottle and the Tavern will waive the corkage fee.
The Salty Dog: Treats & Chews
Nobody loves eating outdoors more than your dog! Stop by The Salty Dog for a bag of treats or a tasty chew to bring to the beach or the fire pit. Their menu includes everything from s’mores to chicken feet! Then grab one of their food and beverage squeaky toys for the perfect souvenir.
Smitty’s Dog Co.: Ordering The Frank Sinatra
When a customer orders a Frank Sinatra, that means they want to have it Smitty’s way (they choose what to make). That usually involves a bacon cheddar sausage with cream cheese, grilled onions and peppers, sauerkraut, deli mustard, sweet chili sauce and some jalapenos or pepperoncini…and don’t forget the sprinkle of celery salt on top! Delicious!
Koko’s: Grab Quesadillas & Burritos To Go
Full of flavor and just the right amount of spice, order a quesadilla to-go and choose from chicken, steak, carnitas, or veggies that are complemented by cheese, roasted corn, green and red peppers, caramelized onions with a garnish of crema, cotija cheese, and pico de gallo. Choose from multiple burrito options, from the burrito gordo that’s packed with meats, rice, beans, and cheeses to the Koko’s burrito that offers your choice of meat with all of the fixings for a delicious burrito.
Frontager’s Pizza Co. & Social: Antipasti, Salad, Pizza & Pasta
Order some of Frontager’s most popular to-go items like the garlic cheese bread served with a side of marinara or the fried cheese ravioli also served with marinara. The light and fresh kale caesar salad made with parmesan cheese, lemon, garlic croutons and caesar dressing is a great to-go dish. The fan-favorite pizzas ordered to go are the savory salumi pizza or the fennel sausage pizza! For pasta lovers, order the (new!) crab ravioli pasta made with garlic cream sauce and fresh parmesan cheese.
Rising Tide & Tavern: Chicken Wings & Cocktails To Go
The wings from Rising Tide are making waves around town! Don’t miss out on the great to-go wing dish that can be ordered with buffalo, BBQ, or Korean flavors. The Rising Tide team has been busy concocting the perfect summer cocktails! Try the new Bigfoot’s Bikini cocktail made with spiced rum, passionfruit, lime and mint or the Last Testament cocktail made with gin, brucato chaparral amaro, BroVo, Boomerang, absinthe, and lime.
Blue Juice & Salad Bar: The Smoothies Menu
Nothing beats walking around town with a fresh smoothie in hand and Blue has a delicious smoothie menu for a refreshing pick-me-up. Try Vitamin C-Brook this summer made with mango, pineapple, orange juice, and agave.
Fresh Foods Market: Cold-Case Sandwiches, Salads, Fruit & Drinks
The newly opened Fresh Foods Market is full of great to-go items to enjoy outdoors. From fresh fruit, parfaits, pasta salads, wraps, and a wide variety of ready-to-eat sandwiches, a quick lunch is readily available. On hot summer days, cool down with dozens of cold beverage options or sweet treats from the freezer section.
