Now in its 10th year, the Chocolate on the Beach Festival takes place in Pacific Beach, Washington, less than two miles from Seabrook. Chocolate lovers and dessert enthusiasts will not want to miss this four-day event focused entirely on celebrating the decadent treat. Guests who attend the Festival will receive a special golden ticket, entering them in a contest with a chance to win a stay with any of the participating properties! What You Can See and Do at the Chocolate on the Beach Festival

This event, which began as a small fundraiser for The Museum of North Beach, has grown into a huge annual festival attracting visitors and vendors from across the country. Now, the Chocolate on the Beach Festival extends along 10 miles of sandy shores. Though the festival has changed over the years, proceeds still benefit multiple local organizations and groups. Aside from chocolate-related events like cooking demos and a chocolate eating contest, you can also expect a silent auction and raffles.

Sample the Best Chocolate

Chocolatiers, vendors, and artists will be serving up delectable samples throughout the weekend right along the shore. Head to the back of the Pacific Beach Elementary School to explore the 10 miles of chocolatey goodness! Pace yourself to make sure you can try all the decadent samples. Vendors will be selling their tasty treats as well, so you can bring your favorites home with you.

Enter Contests and Raffles

The Chocolate on the Beach Festival offers tons of opportunities to win cocoa-themed prizes! If you have a favorite chocolate recipe, show off your baking and cooking skills during the Recipe Contest. Get the entire family involved and work together to earn the Best Recipe Trophy! If you’re more of a chocolate eater than a chocolate chef, you need to enter the Chocolate Eating Contest. Participants of all ages are welcome to sign up and compete to finish their chocolate chunk first. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Purchase raffle tickets from the official ticket booth or the Chocolate Station, and you could be the recipient of free chocolate for a year. Whoever wins this prize will have a pound of chocolate delivered to their house once a month for an entire year.

The Chocolate Station

Throughout the weekend the Chocolate at the Beach Festival hosts a rotating schedule of events at The Chocolate Station. This portion of the festival will be at the North Beach Community Center, just a short drive from the other activities.
